Health, Safety and Environment Manager
Permanent position
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with key directors, operational leaders, contractors and teams on-site and off-site
- Ensure Victorian Health and Safety Legislation is adhered to by the HSE team and project teams
- Actively seek improvement in health and safety approaches
- Ensure successful delivery of health and safety protocol through influencing site managers
- Oversee injury management and rehabilitation
- Implement, review and develop action plans to identify HSE risks
Experience, skills and attributes required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety (diploma or above)
- ICAM investigation or equivalent
- Rehabilitation and return to work coordinator accredited certificate or equivalent
- 10 years' experience in construction with a proven adherence to Victorian WHS and environmental legislation, standards and codes of practice.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Proven track record in investigation, risk management, mentoring and leading
- Success driven with an optimistic attitude
