An opportunity has arisen for a Full Stack Java Developer to join a leading Australian retailer in Melbourne. The initial contract is for 6 months, with a view to extend.
As the Senior Developer you will be working in an Agile team to create and deliver effective solutions to clients. You will need a willingness to learn and an ability to offer up ideas and create product you are proud of.
The client is looking for:
- 5+ years experience working with Java/J2EE
- Solid understanding of OOD and Design Patterns
- Proven senior or lead developer skills including a background in leading or mentoring a team of junior developers
- Strong skills in Front End and Back End Java technologies such as:
- JavaScript
- CSS and HTML
- Angular JS
- Bootstrap
- Core Spring
- Spring MVC
- JPA / Hibernate
- Maven
- JUnit
- CI/CD
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication skills
Skills that are highly beneficial but not necessary:
- Elastic Search
- Groovy
- Grails
- OSGI
