An opportunity for a Senior Java Developer has arisen with one of our fastest growing clients in Sydney. This role is an initial 6 month contract with a strong view for extension.
About the role:
As the Senior Developer you will review existing processes and functionality while simultaneously designing and developing new capabilities. The right candidate will have excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
You will be required to participate in planning sessions that outline IT solutions to both the technical members of the team as well as the wider business units.
Skill set:
- 10+ years experience in Software Development
- Experience developing back end services using Java/J2EE
- Hibernate
- Spring (v3.0)
- Web Services (REST & SOAP)
- Experience developing modern web applications using HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery and Angular JS
- CI/CD (preferably Jenkins)
- Build tools: Maven
- Agile project experience
